The New Orleans Saints have won Super Bowl XLIV against the Indianapolis Colts 31-17! We here at the Neo & Wim Show are beyond ecstatic as we have been Saints fans ever since we can remember seeing and hearing Saints football. Sunday’s episode on January 17, 2010, Neo and Wim discussed the crazy musings of both Pat Robertson and Danny Glover:
First Robertson: “”They were under the heel of the French, you know Napoleon the third and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said ‘We will serve you if you will get us free from the prince.’ True story. And so the devil said, ‘Ok it’s a deal.’ And they kicked the French out. The Haitians revolted and got something themselves free. But ever since they have been cursed by one thing after another,” Robertson said.”
Pat, Pat, Pat.. You’re crazy, and nothing you said is of any historical fact. First. It was Napoleon himself that sent 20,000 troops to retake Haiti. Yellow Fever decimated the French Troops.. Napoleon was already busy with wars in Europe and couldn’t send more troops. This all equaled to independence for Haiti.
Danny Glover is no better.
Danny Glover:” We have to mount a much larger effort in the US. It’s going to be a defining moment for this administration. Other countries in the region, they are Venezuela, Brazil, Cuba, and other countries have already stepped to the plate. What happened to Haiti is a threat that could happen anywhere in the Caribbean to these island nations, you know, because of global warming, because of climate change and all this. And we need to find — we did what we did at the climate summit in Copenhagen. This is the response. This is what happens, you know what I’m saying? But we have to act now.”
Danny Boy, the Pipes the pipes are calling… First of all, your infatuation with Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez is beyond crazy. Hugo hasn’t done dick for Haiti, and can barely keep the power on in his own country. Secondly, Man Made Global Warming doesn’t cause Earthquakes because its as fictitious as the Haitian’s deal with Satan that Robertson talks about. The U.S. has done more than any other country from the very first in Haiti. It just so happens that natural disasters like earthquakes bring up a multitude of problems in which to operate in.
